Roy A. Earlywine, 82, of Cynthiana, passed away on March 23 at Baptist Health Lexington. He was born on Sept. 2, 1941, to the late Loyd Bradley and Alene Maybrier Earlywine.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Bradley Earlywine; sister, Marie Campbell; grandson, Ethan Clay Earlywine; and a great-granddaughter, Haley Doolin.

Roy was a certified Case International Mechanic, and he enjoyed playing softball, hunting, and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Joyce Ann Earlywine; sons Damon (Debbie) Earlywine, Marty (Debbie) Earlywine, Monte (Lisa) Earlywine; daughter, Sally Harrington; brothers, James William (Bonnie) Earlywine; grandchildren, Marsha (Zack) Heater, Jeremy (Tammy) Earlywine, Martin Earlywine, Kayla (Nate) Linville, Wesley (Samantha) Earlywine, Jordan (Marly) Earlywine; and great-grandchildren, Hunter Earlywine, Brookelyn Earlywine, Madison Earlywine, Conner Doolin, Laurel Linville, Gracie Earlywine, Carley Heater and Archie Clay Earlywine.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 29 at 1 p.m. at Ware Funeral Home. Visitation will Thursday, March 28, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. also at Ware Funeral Home. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers are going to be Jeremy Earlywine, Martin Earlywine, Wesley Earlywine, Jordan Earlywine, Hunter Earlywine and Jimmy Allen Earlywine. Honorary pallbearers will be Marsha Heater, Kayla Linville, Conner Doolin, Brookelyn Earlywine, and Madison Earlywine.
