TRAFFIC CASES

  • April 15- Off. Quinn reported to a collision where Shawn Tumey attempted to make a right turn from the left turn lane of Whitt Way onto US 27 and allegedly struck Marion Noble who was in the right turn lane during this time.
  • April 17- Off. Hause responded to a collision in the Christian Church parking lot where a witness reported seeing a vehicle backing out of a space and hitting the vehicle of Catherine Brunker before driving off west on Cromwell St. Witness and camera footage unable to obtain license plate.
  • April 17- Off. Merrill reported to a collision where Chad Herrington allegedly backed their vehicle into Rachelle Fryman’s vehicle.
  • April 18- Off. McGlothin responded to a collision between McDonald’s and Walgreen’s where James New was the victim of an alleged hit and run. An unknown driver hit him from behind causing minor tailgate damage before driving off.
  • April 18- Off. Hampton responded to a collision on New Lair Rd. where David Vickers allegedly collided with Johnny Suesz, who was stopped in traffic with the left hand blinker on.
  • April 18- Sgt. Royse responded to a collision on Waterworks Abdallah Park Rd. where Noah Purnrell struck a chain-link gate/fence on Scott Herrington’s property headed northbound toward Main Fitness.
  • April 20- Off. Balk responded to a collision on E. Pleasant St. at the fire station in which Kelbee Gill allegedly made contact with a brick column while backing out to respond to a call for service.
  • April 23- Off. McGlothin was dispatched to the intersection of Ladish Rd. and Riverside Dr. where Robert Burden allegedly pulled out into the intersection thinking it was a four-way stop and collided with Charles Risner.

April 17- Off. Hampton responded to a call on N. Miller St. from Michael Rankin regarding online harassment.

April 17- Off. Seger responded to a call from Kevin Bishop on Cherokee Dr. and issued a trespass notice to Kenneth Collins for alleged trespass.

April 17- Off. McGlothin responded to a call on N. Miller St. where Timothy Massie’s daughter’s bicycle was stolen.

April 20- Off. Balk responded to a call from the station where William Brooks reported a stolen chainsaw and various other items from his home on Old Lair Rd.

April 21- Off. Hampton responded to a call and did a well-fare check at Clifton Village where Linda Humphrey heard an alarm in an apartment. Upon arrival they found the room full of smoke with a person laying injured in the kitchen. They were transported to HMH then airlifted to UK.

April 23- Off. Rathbone responded to a call to the HMH parking lot where a cart was blown by the wind and struck a parked vehicle. The owner, Cynthia Mckinely, didn’t want a report, though one was filed on behalf of HMH staff.

April 23- Off. Balk responded to a call at the local Dollar Tree where wind allegedly caused Charles Bennet’s car door to make contact with Maggie Hyde’s vehicle in the parking lot.

CITATIONS

April 14- Off. McGlothin was dispatched to New Lair Rd. where he arrested Garret Adams for alleged public intoxication with a controlled substance.

April 15- Off. Rock served a bench warrant on Delta Ct. for Curtis Banks.

April 15- Off. Bear served a warrant on Tyrone Wilson on Maple St. in Winchester, Ky. for allegedly stealing and fraudulently using a credit card.

April 16- Off. Bear pulled over and arrested James Bates on Paris Pike in Georgetown, Ky. for allegedly showing signs of impairment while operating a motor vehicle and allegedly failing to provide a license.

April 18- Off. Smoot served a bench warrant to Tony Shapiro for Scott County Circuit Court on Wilson Ave. for alleged probation violation.

April 20- Off. Quinn arrested Williams Bond for allegedly shoplifting from Cynthiana Walmart and Bond was trespassed from Walmart by lost prevention. He was additionally charged with contempt of court libel/slander resistance to order.

April 20- Off. Balk charged Williams Henderson at Cynthiana Walmart with alleged shoplifting and alleged criminal trespassing in the 3rd degree.

April 21- Off. Seger arrested Sara Fryman at N. Poplar St. for allegedly operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol at the local Shell station.

April 21- Off. Seger arrested Michael Blan at N. Poplar St. for allegedly operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol at the local Shell station.

April 22- Off. Bear arrested Anthony Gaunce on a traffic stop on South Main Street. Bear stopped Gaunce and his passenger, Brian K. Evans, for allegedly driving with no tail lamps and one working brake light. Gaunce was arrested for lack of valid insurance, registration, and alleged possession of drugs.

Evans was arrested on two active warrants for alleged non-payment of court costs, fees, or fines and alleged failure to appear.

-April 24- Off. Rathbone served a Harrison County District Court warrant at Swinford Alley to David Byers for alleged criminal trespass in the first degree.

April 24- Off. Balk arrested Kevin Northcutt at Shawnee Dr. for alleged criminal trespassing in the third degree.

April 25- Off. Rathbone arrested Jackie Caskey at the local KFC/Taco Bell for alleged public intoxication.

April 25- Off. Puckett arrested Jesse Deskins at Hillside Dr. for alleged assault in the fourth degree, alleged resisting arrest, and alleged disorderly conduct.
