Candidates for Parent SBDM Members 2024 — 2025:

Kimberly Bowlin

My name is Kim Bowlin, Over the past 15 years. I have served the school system in one capacity or another. I’ve been a room mom, held various PTO offices, was a member of the superintendant search committee, and finally, SBDM council parent representative.

Charles Koch

I have three daughters that will roam these halls and those of the new school over the next nine years and I want to afford them, their friends, and their classmates the best education possible. To have input in the decisions that will shape that education and all Harrison County students’ future for years to come is an opportunity I am compelled to act upon.

I am the Production Coordinator at Lucas Equine Equipment and my wife Katie teaches English at Harrison County Middle School.

We moved to Cynthiana from Bourbon County in 2008 after the passing of our daughter Addie, and we have absolutely loved raising her sisters Sutton (15), Delaney (13) and Charleigh (9) in Harrison County.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Kentucky and am currently taking refresher courses vicariously through my girls in all things 9th, 7th, and 3rd grade!

Alexandria White

My name is Alexandria White. I am married of 16 years. We have 7 children in which 5 are in the schools of Harrison County. We are very active in sports and our community. I would like to stay on the SBDM council to ensure our students and parents have a voice that can be heard.

I want to insure there is an open line of communication between parent and school staff and officials. We need to make sure every voice and concern is addressed and have a clear and honest answer to any and all voices. I also want to insure our children have the tools and knowledge to become strong, confident, and productive members of society. Our children are our future we must create a high standard to insure a better future for them.
