Dr. Ronald “Ron” Leroy Skidmore, 69

Dr. Ronald “Ron” Leroy Skidmore, 69, of Erlanger, died peacefully at his home on April 30. He was born in West Union, Ohio on Aug. 20, 1954, to the late Herman Leroy and Melva Jane Skidmore.

Ron was a UK and MSU Alumni. He also was a part of the Northern KY Miata Club. Ron loved to read and drive his little blue convertible Miata. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren and watch them participate in all of their activities.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Janet Dennis Skidmore; daughters, Jan Leigh Fuller (Jeff) Witajewski, Brianne Corrie Skidmore (Brian) McDowell and Kinsey Michelle Skidmore (Mark) Howard; brother, Samuel Skidmore; and grandchildren, Carleigh Witajewski, Jack Howard, Adison Witajewski, Bailey McDowell, Braden McDowell, Joe Brett Howard, John Howard and Ava James Howard.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 3, at 2 p.m., with visitation prior to the service, beginning at noon, at Ware Funeral Home in Cynthiana. A special speaker and dear friend of Ron, Wayne Willis, will speak during the Celebration of Life.
