Traffic Cases
Dec. 18-Dep. Ray Johnson worked a single-vehicle accident on KY 36, 3.5 miles west of Cynthiana. Noah McNees lost control in a curve on a wet roadway. He ran into the front yard of a residence, turned the vehicle on its top and came to a stop. All three occupants of the vehicle were able to safely get out of the vehicle.
Dec. 18-Dep. Ray Johnson worked a single-vehicle accident on Salem Pike, 2.5 miles east of Cynthiana. Angel Ritchie said she hit a slick spot in the roadway, slid off the roadway and struck a mailbox owned by Sheila Wiley.
Dec. 17-Dep. Ray Johnson worked a single-vehicle accident on Gray’s Run Road, 7.5 miles west of Cynthiana. Mark Miller said that he pulled off the right shoulder to allow an oncoming vehicle to pass. When he did, he got too far off the road and his vehicle slid down a culvert onto its side. The driver of the oncoming vehicle, Ben VanHook, stopped to render aid.
Dec. 17-Dep. Ray Johnson worked a single-vehicle accident on Haley Road, 15.5 miles north of Cynthiana. Trystan Siler, Butler, was pulling into a driveway and slid on grass and mud, striking a wooden corner post that was holding up a porch roof on the back of a house. The driveway was very muddy and slippery, due to rain.
Dec. 15-Dep. Mike Thomas worked a single-vehicle accident on KY 1842, 10 miles east of Cynthiana. James A. Aldridge, driving an Amazon delivery van, said that he and another vehicle passed one another and their mirrors collided. The other vehicle failed to stop.
CASE REPORTS
Dec. 18-Dep. Ray Johnson took a report from Ashley Case who stated that while she was driving along Eureka Road someone threw something at her vehicle causing a dent in the right front door. She said she was driving past the residence she used to live in when the incident happened. It is unknown who threw the object at her vehicle.
Dec. 13-Dep. Mike Thomas took a report from Billy Fryman who stated that he had received notification from the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission that he was being billed for property taxes on his vehicle. He said he’s never even been to New Jersey. The license plate is still on his vehicle and is valid.
Dec. 12-Dep. Jordan Scott and Officer Nathan Balk of the Cynthiana Police Department arrested Jason Woodall at the Cynthiana McDonalds on two different warrants from two different counties.
Dec. 11-Lt. Tuan Kreer was made aware of an escape from the Justice Center. Briana Beagle was in custody of the Harrison County Jailer’s Office when she escaped through the sally-port at the Justice Center. Lt. Kreer found Ms. Beagle within five minutes and placed her back in custody.

Dec. 21-Dep. Mike Thomas served an indictment warrant from Harrison Circuit Court to Danny M. Cassell III for three counts of trafficking in a controlled substance (1st degree)
Dec. 21-Dep. Mike Thomas served an indictment warrant from Harrison Circuit Court to Bernard D. Corbiere for three counts of trafficking in a controlled substance (1st degree) and for being a persistent felony offender.
Dec. 21-Dep. Tony Fields served an arrest warrant from Harrison District Court to Carolann Canafax for failure to appear. Due to medical issues with Ms. Canafax, she was not arrested but ordered to appear in court on Jan. 22, 2024.
Dec. 15-Dep. Tony Fields served an arrest warrant from Harrison District Court to Tashana Gaye Frye for criminal possession of a forged instrument (2nd degree.) She allegedly took a check out of a mailbox that knowingly belonged to someone else.
Dec. 14-Dep. Tony Fields served an arrest warrant from Harrison District Court to Edward Lee Vanhook for two counts of distribution of obscene matter to minors.
Dec. 14-Dep. Josh Puckett served an arrest warrant from Laurel District Court to Robert W. Stewart for failure to appear.

Dec. 14-Dep. Tony Fields served an arrest warrant from Harrison Circuit Court to Robert Lee Adams for a probation violation.

Dec. 14-Lt. Joe Daniel served an arrest warrant from the Kentucky Parole Board to Anthony Annis for a parole violation.
