The Grant County Conservation District held its annual Art and Writing Awards Banquet on Thursday, March 21. Doors opened at 6:15 to allow attendees time to view the winning entries while mixing and mingling.
The theme of the contest, “Keeping it Wild,” centered on sustaining Kentucky’s native wildlife species. The total number of art entries was 1,897; writing entries totaled 1,085.
