Grayson Paul Norman was born to Shawn and Courtney Norman of Nicholasville, Ky., on Aug. 7, 2018 at Baptist Health. He is welcomed by his brother, River.
Maternal grandparents are Patty and Bud Purcell of Cynthiana; maternal great-grandparents are Ronnie and Judy Sims of Cynthiana and the late Paul and Dorothy Purcell.

To the editor:
There’s nothing complex about the gas prices in Harrison County. What’s going on is illegal collision and price fixing.
Most businesses operate in an area of competitiveness. When everyone raises their rates at one time, with no individual cost increases, that’s price fixing and when they arrive at the rate based on individual verifications that’s collision.

Breds season ends with 27-6 loss...

The Harrison County Thorobreds gave a valiant effort Friday night but in the end the Ashland Paul Blazer Tomcats had too much speed as the Breds fell 27-6 in the second round of the 4A play-offs.  The Breds closed the season with a 7-5 record while Ashland improved to 11-1.
