    The Harrison County Fillies traveled to Grant County Monday night and came home with a tie on their record as the game was called after six due to darkness.

    OF GOD

    Calvary Assembly of God will host an auction on Sunday, April 6 at 1 p.m. in the gym. The event is a fundraiser to help reduce the building loan debt.
    The church is located at 325 Webster Ave.


    The Central Christian Church Ladies night out will be March 31 to Golden Corral. Meet at the church. All ladies invited for a night of good food and fellowship.

  • LVC Extension offers childcare training

    The Licking Valley Campus Workforce Solutions and Wedco District Health Department are sponsoring a childcare training.  
    This training will take place at the Licking Valley Campus Extension in Harrison Square on Saturday, March 29, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  
    The cost of the class is $45.  The training will have three classes including:
    •Carol Carson, child care health consultant with the Wedco District Health Department, will teach a session entitled, Domestic Violence and the Effect on Children.
