  • Fillies win Senior Night match over Grant Co., 10-0

    It was a big Senior Night for the two Harrison County Fillies seniors, Sophia Hatterick and MaKinlee Kellione.  The pair have been a huge part of the soccer success that the Fillies have enjoyed during their four years on the Hilltop.  
    They have been district champs three straight years and hope to add another this season.  They have also been in two region semi finals and one region final.

  • Breds soccer ties at Frankfort, lose at Grant County

    The Harrison County High School Thorobreds soccer team traveled to Frankfort (5-6-1) Saturday and came away with an exciting 2-2 tie.  Casey Sledd scored on a penalty kick and Duncan Wiley on a free kick from 20 yards out with four seconds to play.  The wall of Frankfort defenders jumped and Wiley kicked the ball under them for the goal.

    The Tenth Region Coaches poll has the Harrison County Fillies (21-1) second with Campbell County (14-9) first and Bishop Brossart (4-9) third.  Scott High is fourth followed by Calvary Christian, Pendleton County, Nicholas County, George Rogers Clark, Montgomery County, Bracken County, Saint Patrick, Robertson County, Bourbon County, Mason County, Augusta, and Silver Grove.

  • Breds rout Rebels 55-0, now 3-2 with Holmes on road Friday

    The Harrison County Thorobreds defense limited Owen County to minus-16 yards of total offense Friday night as they smoked the Rebels, 55-0, in Owenton.  The Breds led 33-0 at the half.
    The Thorobreds took the opening kickoff on an eight-play 63-yard drive only to fumble into the end zone which was recovered by Owen County.  After a Harrison County penalty gave Owen County a first down the home team’s Anderson Diaz fumbled on the Owen County 21 and the Breds recovered.
