    In celebration of Black History month the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library will be sponsoring a poetry/art/essay contest. This contest is open to third through 12th grade students living in Harrison County and/or attending Harrison County schools and open to homeschool students meeting the grade level requirements.

  • Wrestlers win Rumble, finish 20th at Woodford County

    Harrison County’s wrestlers won the eight-team Rumble on the Hilltop last Monday at the Harrison County Middle School edging Bourbon County and Campbell County.
    The Thorobreds scored 57 points to the Colonels’ 51 and the Camels’ 50 in a make up of the tournament originally schedule for Dec. 7.  
    The Thorobreds won only three of the 13 classes and took second in four. The 170-lb. Mason Fryman, 182-lb. Clay Arthur, and 220-lb. Kellon Williams won their weight classes.
