After the loss in Winchester on Tuesday, Sept. 17, traveling to Sayre on Thursday was not considered to be a good thing since the Spartans owned a win over George Rogers Clark in a match that was played only a week or so before.

This match was played earlier in the evening than most and with no junior varsity since the Sayre facility is without lights.
