New candidacy filings declared

Harrison County Clerk Linda Furnish has added a few names to the election hopefuls.

Although he has not formally filed, former County Judge-Executive Dean Peak said he throwing in hat back in the ring.

Candidates who filed this week are:

•Freddie Butcher as District 7 constable;

•Gary Brunker as Cynthiana mayor;

•David McIlvain, Walter Tapp, Roger Slade and Jason Perry as Cynthiana City Commissioners;

•Vickie Cantu and Ruth Adams as Berry City Commissioners.
