KYTC reminds motorists that U.S. 27 bridge not yet complete

-A A +A

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) reminds motorists that the new U.S. 27 bridge over CSX Railroad tracks in Cynthiana, though open to traffic, is not yet completed.
Consequently, settlement at the bridge ends results in a “rough ride” experience for motorists traveling over the new structure and through the still-active construction zone. Staff of KYTC District 6, based in Covington, are working on a solution to the settlement. The contractor is expected to complete repairs in early June, after which the cabinet will call the project “complete.”
Motorists are cautioned to be conscious of their speed and road conditions when driving through the construction area. The cabinet appreciates the public’s patience.
