Harrison Memorial Hospital (HMH) was recognized and honored at the Best Places to Work in Kentucky 11th annual Awards Dinner on April 14 at the Lexington Heritage Hall. The final rankings were announced at the event, and HMH ranked fifth out of 36 in the medium business category. This is the highest HMH  has ranked in the five years of participating in the awards program.
“We are delighted and proud to receive a prestigious honor for Harrison Memorial Hospital,” says Dr. Brian Mulberry, Chairman of the HMH Board of Directors. “It is a testimony to the hard work and dedication of more than 300 highly skilled, highly dedicated professionals in both clinical and non-clinical fields.
The awards program was created in 2005 and is a project of the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management Council and Best Companies Group.
This statewide survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Kentucky, benefiting the state’s economy, workforce and businesses. The Best Places to Work in Kentucky 2015 list is made up of 90 companies.
“I’ve believed for years that Harrison Memorial Hospital is a special place to spend a career. Earning this honor five times in a row only reinforces my belief that our hospital sets the bar for other places of employment,” said Sheila Currans, HMH Chief Executive Officer. “But it’s important to note that our people and their love for and commitment to what they do make HMH the great place it is. And our patients benefit from that.”
