Sunday liquor by the drink sales is the goal of two men who approached the Cynthiana City Commission Tuesday.

Mike Aldridge, president of the Cynthiana City Commission, and Charlie Biancke, vice president, told commissioners they were representing not only the Country Club but also restaurants Don Senor, Rancho Bob’s and the Elk’s Club.

“Our request is based on our belief that we as businesses can operate more effectively with the additional income that the extra day of sales would bring  us,” Aldridge told commissioners.
