Case reports
June 20 – At 10:54 p.m., police were called to 121 Smith Ave. for a neighbor dispute over a broken bottle.
June 21 – At 3:55 p.m., police were called to Walmart where a 16-year-old boy had run away from his mother.
June 21 – At 3:24 p.m., police were called to Pearl Street where a small child was found wondering alone.
June 21 – At 4:56 p.m., Jerry Florence, Church Street, reported that over $2,500 worth of tools were taken from his storage building.
June 21 – At 6:58 p.m., police were called to Bridge Street where Ronald Beagle reported that someone had broken into his neighbor’s vacant house. It appeared that the only thing missing was an old tool box.
June 21 – At 4 p.m., Debra Porter reported that a vehicle she had believed to be junked was seen back on the road. Police contacted Gene McKinley who had towed the vehicle and he said the vehicle had been crushed and that it could not have been on the road.
June 22 –  At 3:15 p.m., Travis L. Hively, Old Lair Road, reported that his push mower was missing from his property.
June 22 – At 7:22 p.m., Donna Utley of Rite Aid reported that two shoplifters left the store with a bottle of Jagermeister valued at $20.99.
June 22 – At 8 p.m., police were called to a fight in progress on South Walnut Street. Paul Kiskaden alleged that he had been punched by David Burden.
June 22 – At 8 p.m., Sgt. Tim Wells documented disruptive behavior that he believed had originated at the same South Walnut Street address as the previous fight call.
June 24 – At 8:14 a.m., Gene McKinley reported that someone entered 107 Wholwinder property and took a lock box and small safe.
June 24 – At 11:59 a.m., Steven Northcutt reported that he was hit by an unknown man in the Methodist Church parking lot.
June 24 – At 7 p.m., police were called to a Pike Street apartment on a domestic dispute.
June 24 – At 7:27 p.m., police received a complaint of individuals trying to sell magazine subscriptions in the Oxley Avenue neighborhood. Police advised Robert Sorrells that he had to have a city permit before being able to sell items in the city limits.
June 24 – At 8:52 p.m., Jamie Rueger reported that she left her vehicle parked at Hospice of the Bluegrass on U.S. 62 during the Relay for Life event. When she returned to her vehicle, there was a dent in the side.
June 24 – At 9 p.m., police were called to Third Street for a neighbor dispute over parking on the street.
June 24 – At 9:23 p.m., Jerry Clifford Jr., Pleasant Street, reported that a modem supplied to him by Time Warner Cable was missing from his residence.
June 24 – At 10:30 p.m., police were called to Marshall Avenue for a family dispute.
June 25 – At 1 a.m., police were called regarding a dispute over a truck that was involved by a couple who were separated.
June 25 – At 10:11 p.m., police made a traffic stop of a 17-year-old Rebekah King, who was charged with DUI and disregarding a stop sign. Her passenger, Eric Lewis, 20, was charged with possession of marijuana, carrying a concealed weapon and person 18-20 years old having another purchase/possession of alcohol.
June 26 – At 2:09 a.m., police were called to North Walnut Street to an upstairs apartment for a death investigation.
June 26 – At 5:50 p.m., police were called to Brooks Street regarding a harassing text messages.
June 26 – At 9:09 p.m., police were called to Cromwell Alley for a neighbor dispute over children who were allegedly throwing rocks.
June 26 – At 9:40 p.m., police were called to Pearl Street for a fight call.
June 27 – At 12:56 a.m., police attempted to make a welfare check of a woman who was allegedly beaten by a subject in Paris and was headed to family’s residence in Cynthiana. Police were unable to make contact.
June 27 – At 3:43 p.m., Nancy Walker of Eastside Pharmacy reported an incident of shoplifting.
June 27 – At 10:51 p.m., police were called to T-Dee’s Bar for a domestic dispute.
June 28 – At 11:31 a.m., Darnell Warren Jr., Walnut Street, reported that someone broke into his apartment and removed 15 frozen TV dinners, a box of ice cream sandwiches and a bottle of body wash.
June 28 – At 3:12 p.m., police took a report of a juvenile who claimed that she had been involved in a physical altercation and was threatened that she would be beat up again.
June 28 – At 11:10 p.m., a gas drive-off was reported at Bridge Street BP.
June 28 – At 11:23 p.m., police were called to Broadway where a mother had allegedly struck her daughter in the face.
June 29 – At 7:45 p.m., police were called to North Locust Street were a man had reportedly exposed himself to his neighbor and her children.
June 29 – At 9 p.m., a report of a shoplifter was made from Family Dollar Store.

June 24 -- Kellie D. Stanfield, 44, was cited on U.S. 27 North for failure to wear seat belts and failure to produce insurance card.
June 24 -- Jacqueline Crew, 24, was cited on Bridge Street for no registration receipt, no registration plate, no insurance, failure to wear seat belt, license to be in possession.
June 24 -- Leroy Clark, 72, was cited on Marshall Avenue for improper turning.
June 25 -- Michael P. Hayes III, 26, was issued a warning on Pleasant Street for improper lane.
June 25 -- Eric D. Lewis, 20, was arrested on Church Street and charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of marijuana and person 18-20 possession/purchasing/having another purchase alcoholic beverage.
