Blood Drive Challenge. The Harrison County Schools Tree for Life Blood Drive Challenge will be held Saturday, Dec. 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Cynthiana Walmart, U.S. 27 South. All donors will receive a t-shirt, drawstring backpack and will be entered to win the gift card giveaway. Ask how you can help the Salvation Army. Donors will receive a non-fasting cholesterol test.

Community Action Council of Harrison County will begin hosting a Job Club on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 9-10:30 a.m. at the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library meeting room. “The Unlimited Job Source Club” will be a resource for those in need of employment and job-seeking guidance. Topics will include: resume writing, interview skills, mock interviews, and employment connections, and is free and open to the public.
