The Harrison County Thorobreds fell to 9-11 on the season Tuesday night as they dropped a fast-paced game 70-54 on the Hilltop.
The Thorobreds were playing without senior forward Dillon Pulliam who sprained his ankle in a shoot around earlier in the day.

Doram scored eight points in the first quarter to become the fifth of the Fillies to score 2,000 points in her career.
Noel Whitaker Kearns, Brooke Faulkner, Camryn Whitaker, Megan Gray McIlvain and Mary Custard-Austin are the five Fillies who have previously passed the lofty career mark.
Jerry Fogle is the only Thorobred to score 2,000 points in his career.

  • The Super Bowl, pleasant memories

The Super Bowl has always been a day of parties and good times for me and I am looking forward to another day of the same on Sunday.
I cannot remember each one year by year, but I do remember some important facts about the Super Bowls that have been played during my life time.
To begin with, the first Super Bowl was played the year that I graduated from Tell City High School. The 1967 battle between the Packers and Chiefs was played in the Los Angeles Coliseum and was easily won by the Packers 35-10.
