  • Are we the ugly Americans?

The Ryder Cup has just concluded and the good guys won.  At least it was the good guys if you are an American because it had been some time since America’s top golfers had beaten the Europeans.

In fact the USA team had not won since 2008 which was so long ago that many of the current players were not playing professionally then and if they were, certainly not at Ryder Cup level.

It was great to win, and to win by a score of 17-11, which is the largest American margin in decades.
