The Harrison County Fillies defeated the Hazard Lady Bulldogs Saturday in the Tates Creek Panorama played at Henry Clay.
The game was an unorthodox two 16-minute halves with a continuous clock so there really wasn’t much playing time.
The Fillies won the contest 19 to 15.
Hazard played a zone-on defense causing the Fillies to shoot from the perimeter but Harrison County struggled to find the range.
I’ve spent many years trying to make Thanksgiving in our house more about the “thankfulness” than about the food, football and especially the Black Friday shopping that has begun to spill back into the holiday.
To the editor:
To the voters of Harrison County, thank you for the opportunity to serve the 1st Magisterial District for the last four years. It has truly been an honor to be associated with the men and women on the fiscal court. The decisions that have been made in that short time will positively affect the county for years to come.
EDITOR’S NOTE: For the next three weeks, the Cynthiana Democrat will observe National Hospice Month by turning a spotlight on the services that Hospice of the Bluegrass provides, particularly the outreach services that originate from the Cynthiana branch of the organization.
