Meet the Fillies and Breds Friday at 6 PM on the Hilltop
The Harrison County High School basketball Fillies and Breds will be in exhibition Friday night at 6 p.m. as they prepare to open the 2014-15 season.
The bowling, wrestling, archery and dance teams along with the band and cheerleaders have also been invited to attend.

By a 3-2 vote, the Cynthiana City Commission approved a stay of execution on the future of the Handy House. But the vote was merely to table an existing motion to proceed with the building's demolition.
Charles Biddle from the American Legion Post 109, Falmouth, saluted his fellow veterans during the annual Veterans’ Day program at Battle Grove Cemetery. Tuesday’s event was held at 11 a.m. with a large crowd gathered around the Veterans’ Walk. The American Legion veterans provided a 21-gun salute.
