Central Kentucky Riding for Hope has partnered with the Kentucky National Guard and the Kentucky Horse Park to honor our service members on May 18 at the Kentucky Horse Park.
All service members are invited to enjoy a fun-filled day of equine educational sessions, social recreation and all general admission horse park shows, museums and activities free of charge. CKRH is also offering discounted trial and pony rides and will serve free BBQ lunch.

Brooke Razor graduated Summa Cum Laude on Sunday, May 5 from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a minor in Philosophy.
Razor has received a full tuition merit scholarship from Villanova Law School, and will begin her studies in Philadelphia in the fall.
She is the daughter of Bow and Lynne Switzer and a 2009 graduate of Harrison County High School.
Kentucky’s USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) State Executive Director John McCauley, wants to remind farmers and landowners that local Farm Service Agency (FSA) county committee nomination begins on Friday, June 17.
To be eligible to serve on an FSA county committee, a person must participate or cooperate in a program administered by FSA, be eligible to vote in a county committee election and reside in the local administrative area in which the person is a candidate.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) Administrator announces that farm payments, which had been temporarily suspended due to sequestration, are scheduled to resume today, May 8. This includes payments for the 2011 Supplemental Revenue Assistance Payments Program (SURE), the Noninsured Crop Assistance Program (NAP) and the Milk Income Loss Contract Program (MILC).
