Last week, a Blue Grass Energy member received a phone call from a man claiming to be from Blue Grass Energy. The caller informed the member that his meter had to be changed and his power would be off for 72 hours. If he could pay $900 on a prepaid debit card, the process could be expedited.
This is a utility scam that has been running in multiple states since the summer.
Seven-year-old Aaliyah Scaglione of Paris was excited to see Santa Claus when he showed up for the Shop with a Trooper breakfast at Antioch Mills Christian Church on Saturday morning.
