HCSD now has until the end of the day Aug. 20 to file its answer to the complaint filed with the Kentucky Public Service Commission (PSC). As of press time Wednesday morning, no filing had been reported on PSC’s website.

Brian Williams told commissioners Tuesday there were several things that needed to be done at the park. He said he had taken his issues to the Parks and Rec board but so far no improvements have been made.

To the editor:
I want to give a BIG shout out to Jerry Adams and his hardworking staff for the outstanding job they did this year on the Rod Run. They worked countless hours planning and preparing for this event. There was a great crowd, and who knows how many vehicles and vendor booths galore. Also the Lord blessed us with really beautiful weather.
This is something Cynthiana should be proud of and in my opinion is the biggest and best event this little town has.
Again, thanks to Jerry and his staff for all their efforts. Great job guys.
