The annual reunion of the late Harley and Lula Kelley/Kelly Earlywine will be held Sunday, Aug. 10 at Blue Licks State Park. A potluck lunch will be served at 1 p.m. at the big shelter across from the museum. All friends and family are invited to attend. Everyone is urged to bring some favorite family recipe for a family cookbook.

He may be best known for his juicy tomatoes, but Al Solomon is also one of the founding fathers of the Harrison County Farmers’ Market. Solomon, of Ammerman Pike, has been farming produce for 10 years, eight of which have been with the farmers’ market.
His family has played a large role in his success as a farmer, and have been working with him since he started.

Annastasia Hicks has been named to the Dean’s List for the winter/spring terms at Centre College, an honor reserved for students who maintain at least a 3.60 grade point average.
Hicks is the daughter of John and Tamera Hicks of Cynthiana and is a graduate of Harrison County High School.
