Breds drop two
The Mississippi baseball trip did not go as well as hoped for the Harrison County Thorobreds as the now 10-5 Breds dropped two games in the whirlwind southern tour.
Harrison County lost to D’lberville 8-7 on Saturday and was swept 10-0 by Gulfport Monday.
After a slow start to the season the Harrison County Fillies won their sixth straight game Monday with a come-from-behind win over Fleming County.
The Fillies spotted the Lady Panthers two runs in the second inning. They answered by scoring five times in the fourth inning and again in the sixth for the 10-3 win.
Fleming County posted a single run in the seventh inning, but that was all they could muster.
