The Harrison County Fiscal Court had a very light agenda at its regular meeting on Tuesday night, July 26.
Scott McCauley was scheduled to present a financial statement for the Harrison County Sanitation District and discuss setting rates for the Cedar Brook Subdivision’s sewer service, but was unable to attend.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Kentucky Farm Service Agency (FSA) Executive Director, John W. McCauley, reminds farmers, ranchers and other agricultural producers that they have until Aug. 1, 2016, to nominate eligible candidates to serve on local FSA county committees.
“The Aug. 1 deadline to submit nominations is quickly approaching,” said McCauley.
“We did not come out on top but we had a great day,” said Coach Neil Furnish about his football Breds at Oldham County Saturday. “We learned a lot about ourselves and played some excellent competition.”
The Thorobreds played at Oldham County Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. to attempt to beat the heat on the very warm day.
