I am told that a 37 percent turnout for any election is huge. And, judging from the sheer exhaustion of Linda Furnish and the entire staff at the Harrison County Clerk’s office when the counting was officially complete Tuesday night, I have no doubt that it was, indeed, a large turnout.

The best advice in any phone call, letter or door-to-door salesman is ‘if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and looks like a duck, it’s probably a duck.’
