It’s good to back to work! It’s even better to be back to work and being somewhat back to normal.
I missed a couple of weeks due to some health-related issues.
Seems I had an adverse reaction to some medication I was taking that resulted in some fluid build-up around my heart and within one lung.
Essentially, I felt like I was drowning in my own body fluids.
I now know what it feels like to not be able to breathe normally, and I don’t like it one little bit.

    Wow!
Every time an event occurs in Cynthiana I’m left with the same speechless awe.
I don’t think that anyone will deny that our little Maiden City has been dormant for several years. And it hasn’t been due to the complete lack of effort.

It’s a busy time in Cynthiana and Harrison County.
This weekend is the famed Rod Run, an all-day car show that has put Cynthiana on the classic car map.
Sept. 23 will be the first Super Saturday with a plethora of activities, including a ping-pong ball drop.
Yea, just wait and see on that one! It should be a blast.
Before that is the Taste of Harrison County, which includes the 5K and Little Feet, Big Feet road races.
This next one is going to be near and dear to my heart.
