  • Passing hope... one pumpkin at a time

Members of Living Hope Assembly of God are seeing orange.

On Saturday afternoon, the congregation gathered and formed a receiving line, passing pumpkins down from a semi-trailer.

“Five hundred more to go,” pastor Tunya Adams yelled.

“How many of these did we order?” one parishioner called out.

The pumpkin receiving line erupted in laughter.

The church of 50 ordered and unloaded 600 pumpkins.

Living Hope’s future building site off US 27 (beside Northside Elementary) is now a sea of pumpkins.
