    THURSDAY, Oct. 6
    Ghost Walk. Thursday, Oct. 6 at 9 p.m. By special arrangement Rohs Opera House will offer a Ghost Walk which will depart from the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library at 9 p.m. Cost will be $9 per person.
    Northside Council. Northside Site Based Council will hold a special meeting Thursday, Oct. 6 at 3:45 p.m. in the school library. The public is invited to attend.

  • Harrison ATC Club officers attend seminar

    Harrison County FBLA, HOSA and Skills USA officers attended the “Get Motivated” seminar in Lexington, Ky., on Sept. 28. The inspirational workshop included such speakers as UK Basketball Coach John Calipari; former first lady Laura Bush; Notre Dame Football Coach Lou Holtz; former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani and many others.

  • Clyde-Greenwood exchange vows

    Melinda McKee Clyde, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. James S. Clyde of Cynthiana, and Christopher Noel Greenwood, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary W. Greenwood of Milton, Ky., were married at 5:30 p.m. on July 2, 2011, at Cynthiana Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Patrick Laney officiated the ceremony.
    The bride is the granddaughter of the late W.E. and Mary Clyde of Beloit, Wisc., and the late William and Anna Myers McKee of Cynthiana.
    The groom is the grandson of the late Ernest and Kathryn Straub of Madison, Ind., and the late Clyde and Bernice Greenwood of Milton, Ky.
