    Traffic Cases
    The following information from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office indicates drivers and/or owners whose vehicles were involved in accidents.

    Nov. 8 – At 8:40 a.m., an injury accident was reported on KY 36 two miles from town. Latoshia Shepperd was traveling on KY 36 when she attempted to avoid striking a stopped vehicle and hit a guardrail as a result.

  • Cynthiana Christian to host Crist Family for Dec. 6 concert

    Members of Cynthiana Christian Church invite the community to join them on Thursday, Dec. 6, at 7:30 p.m. for a concert by the nationally acclaimed Crist Family.  Having relocated from Seattle, Wash., to just north of Knoxville, Tenn., this group is considered to be one of the fastest-rising family groups in gospel music today.  
    They have performed in 28 states and Canada, and have graced the stage at nearly every major event in gospel music.

    Juggling Faith and Life Youth Conference featuring motivational speaker Therese Warrick, EKU students Keith Douglas and Sheena Banner, and special appearance from Mt. Calvary Mime Ministry. The event will be held Saturday, Dec. 1 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (lunch will be served) at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 205 N. Locust Street. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. Door prizes will also be given (including prize for the youth who brings the most youth).

    Nobody knows the trouble I’ve seen. Nobody knows my sorrow.
    Today I’m suffering First World Problems. To name a few:
    I noticed too late that the gray of my shirt does not match the gray of my pants. Also? I left the house without wearing any bracelets, so not only am I color uncoordinated, but I have naked wrists.
