    Berry Christian Church will host their Craft Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 3 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. featuring local artists and crafters which include Rada Knives, Tupperware, 31 Handbags, Just Jewelry and handmade jewelry, Tastefully Simple, Wickless Candles and more.

    Revival services will be held at Colemansville Christian Church Nov. 9-11.

    For those keeping an eye on the calendar, Election Day is almost here and the feuding is almost over.
    Except it won’t be over. It’s never over.
    Last week I attended a political forum, sponsored by the Chronicle. Held at the local college, the room overflowed with venom and vitriol and people who weren’t just pro-their candidate, but anti-the other person.
    Is it even possible to be pro-someone without being anti-the other person? Just asking.

    Bookmobile. The Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library Bookmobile will be available Friday, Nov. 2 at Beacon House at 10:30 a.m.; New Beginnings, 11 a.m.; Our Little Miracles, 11:30 a.m.; Robynwood Heights, 3-4 p.m.
    Fish Fry. The annual Berry Lions Club Fish Fry will be held Friday, Nov. 2 from 11 a.m. till ? at Flat Run Veterans Park, Cynthiana. All you can eat for $8. Carry out and free delivery of five or more orders. Call 588-0179 or 588-5161.

  • Spooky Boo-Wow parade is Saturday

    The third annual Howl-o-ween Spooky Boo-Wow parade will be held Saturday at the courthouse.
    Registration will begin at 11 a.m. on the lawn at the old courthouse in downtown Cynthiana. The canines and their owners will join a parade around the courthouse beginning at noon.
    The parade is an event of Xi Beta Beta Sorority as a committee for the Harrison County Fiscal Court with the Human Society of Harrison County the beneficiary of proceeds.
    There is a $5 registration for each dog entered.

  • Berry residents thank court for financial support of Data Center

    A special Harrison County Fiscal Court meeting was held in Berry on Tuesday, Oct. 23.
    During the special meeting citizens of Berry were given the opportunity to give praises and concerns to the fiscal court.
    Several citizens gave thanks for the continued support of the Harrison County Fiscal Court in funding the Berry Data Center.
    The citizens informed the court that several children and young adults are able to use the resources for school work and various types of social media.
