    The Central Christian Church Ladies night out will be March 31 to Golden Corral. Meet at the church. All ladies invited for a night of good food and fellowship.
    Board meeting and Ladies Circle meeting is planned for March 20 at 6 p.m.
    The Team Story event was a big success. DVD’s are for sale from the event for $5 and all the money goes to Team Story. Call Linda at 234-2711 if you would like to order one.

    I am a product of the 60-70’s. I hit my teen years wearing bell bottoms, 4-inch platform shoes and a rebellious spirit. Words like dysfunctional family or abusive parenting were not known then.

    Thursday, March 20 at 5:30 p.m. at the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library. This will be the first meeting. For Kindergarten through 5th grade. Will be exploring Felicity’s world in 1774 with a tea party and crafts. The program is made possible in part by a donation in memory of Marquerite “Sug” Kuster.

    March 8 -- Kenneth J. Schroot, 47, was cited on South Walnut Street for possession of alcoholic beverage container in vehicle and failure to/or improper signal.
    March 8 -- Amanda F. Hunt, 18, was arrested on U.S. 27 South at Walmart and charged with theft by unlawful taking under $500, shoplifting.
    March 8 -- Joseph D. Thomas, 40, was arrested on East Penn Street and charged with alcohol intoxication.
    March 8 -- Meloney A. Peck, 38, was arrested on East Penn Street and charged with alcohol intoxication.

    March 10 -- At 1:19 a.m., a non-injury accident occurred on KY 32 west about 8 miles outside the city limits. Kenean Blanton of 209 Keelridge Drive in Georgetown struck a deer.
    March 13 -- At 7:50 a.m., a non-injury accident occured on KY 1054 S. 10 miles north of the city limits. Noram McKee struck a deer.
    March 10 -- At 5:42 p.m., Donna Nelson of 37 Mudlick Road reported that someone had vandalized her property.

  • Harrison County FBLA receives awards at Region 4 Conference

    On March 11, 17 members of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) from Harrison County ATC traveled to Northern Kentucky University to compete at the Region 4 FBLA Conference. Students had a great time competing in events, making new friends, and attending the talent show.
