    The Harrison County School Board approved $647,000 for a renovation project at Harrison County Middle School, Southside Elementary and the Community Education Center.
    Grand opening held for Cynthiana’s Mi Casita Mexican cuisine. The restaurant is located on Pike Street, formerly occupied by Platter’s Restaurant.

    Free Thanksgiving Meal will be served at the Harrison County High School cafeteria on Thanksgiving Day. The meal is free but please call 588-3712 and let us know you are coming. There will be Christmas crafts for the kids. Transportation can be provided. If unable to join us at the high school and would still like a meal, delivery will be available.     The following information from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office indicates drivers and/or owners whose vehicles were involved in accidents.
    Nov. 15 – At 10:20 a.m., a non-injury accident was reported on KY 392. Bonnie Couch was traveling on KY 392 when she noticed a vehicle in her lane and swerved to miss the vehicle and ran into a fence and ditch line.

    With the holidays upon us, millions of Americans are hitting the road to visit with family and friends.  The Kentucky Office of Highway Safety (KOHS) wants every celebration to be a joyous occasion, so travelers are reminded that state and local law enforcement will be out in force through the Thanksgiving weekend, sending the strong message to “Click It or Ticket.”
