    Alumni football coming back
    for second year in April
    Gridiron Alumni has announced that it will be coming back to Kentucky again this year for another series of exciting alumni football.  
    This year on Friday, April 5, the Harrison County alumni will again take on the Bourbon County Pride team. Game time will be released at a later date along with more information about the two teams.  
    The next night, the event travels to Montgomery County where the alumni from Montgomery County and Clark County will do battle.

    A Cynthiana woman charged with shooting her husband last February is back in jail after her formal sentencing Tuesday morning.

  • Lions’ Club Auction is March 18-22

    The annual Cynthiana Lions’ Club Auction will take place on March 18-22 from the Harrison County Central Office, Board of Education, on Webster Avenue.

    Country hams, gift cards and many more odds and ends will make up the list of approximately 90 items that will be up for bid each night of the annual auction.

    On Thursday, March 21, the Licking Valley Campus Extension will open its doors to the public for a Spring Art Show from 4 to 6 p.m. 

    Showcase artists include Herby Moore, MCTC/Licking Valley Campus, Artist in Residence.

    A birthday celebration in honor of Betty Patrick will be held Saturday, March 16, from 1:30 p.m. till 3:30 p.m. at the Cynthiana First Church of God, 401 N. Main St.
    Friends and family are invited to spend the afternoon and help her celebrate. No gifts please.
    The celebration will be held in the Church Fellowship Hall. Please enter the Fellowship Hall from the church parking lot behind the church just off West Pearl Street.
