  • Not exactly a David vs. Goliath but pretty close

Well, I made it through my first-ever strongman contest and it wasn’t a total bust... other than my head.
Those who know me well, know that I have been working with a local talented strongman competitor.
I met Rob McCann a few years ago when he held Harrison County’s first Kentucky’s Strongest Man competition at Lenono’s parking lot.
I went to take pictures of the event and you know how the story goes, I was hooked on the idea of lifting really heavy things like the pros did.

  • Men, tongues, words and wounds

In my (albeit feeble) defense, I had just come from undergoing a medical test done under sedation, which may or may not have loosened my tongue. Or maybe it was because I hadn’t eaten in 24 hours and hunger affected my brain.
