    The Harrison County Democratic Woman’s Club held its Jefferson-Jackson Dinner with a tribute to John M. Keith Jr. on Monday, Sept. 12 at the Cynthiana Country Club.
    The Master of Ceremonies was Judge Charles William Kuster Jr. Other speakers were L. Andrew Keith, Dr. J. Ashley Keith, K. Bruce Florence, Doug Hampton and the Honorable Douglas Miller.

    Case reports
    Sept. 15 – At 4:04 p.m., Sharon Prather reported that she was being harassed.
    Sept. 16 – At 12:33 a.m., police were called to a possible suicide attempt. The subject declined assistance and told police that he was not going to kill himself.
    Sept. 16 – At 12:47 a.m., Sara Fryman reported that an individual broke the window out of her vehicle and hit her with a rock. He took her keys and ran away. She is going to the county attorney to file a complaint.

    Traffic Cases
    The following information from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office indicates drivers and/or owners whose vehicles were involved in accidents.
    Sept. 28 – At 11:20 a.m., an injury accident occurred on Stratton Rd. Mandy Ballard was driving on Stratton Road and skid off the road and struck the end portion of a guardrail. Ballard and her daughter were both air lifted to UK hospital for their injuries.
