Southern States is making plans for a potential move to the former H.A. Jones showroom.
While nothing is set in stone, Southern States has received the nod from the Cynthiana-Harrison County-Berry Joint Planning Commission to proceed with a development plan.
“The Southern States Coop started talking in August of last year about a possible move,” said Cynthiana Southern States manager Dale Duckworth. “We wanted something bigger and easier to get in and out of.”
All artificial flowers and arrangements need to be removed from the Battle Grove Cemetery by March 31 for the mowing season.
Spring clean up and removal will begin April 2 by cemetery employees.
Safety for employees and visitors during the mowing season is always a major concern.
The members of the Harrison County Farmers Market invites senior citizens to come and shop with their local farmers. There is a program developed through the Department of Agriculture called Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program that all persons aged 60 years and older can apply for.
Kayden Todd Crawford was born to Garry Edward Crawford Jr. and Carly Denae Whitson on Feb. 22, 2012 at Central Baptist Hospital. He weighed 6 lbs. 13 oz.
Maternal grandparents are Carl and Rhonda Whitson.
