    Case reports
    March 7 – At 1:53 p.m., Debbie Eubanks, Leawood Drive, reported that her son, Cody Baker, was inside her home and had no permission to be there. Baker was arrested and charged with second degree burglary.

    Traffic Cases
    The following information from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office indicates drivers and/or owners whose vehicles were involved in accidents.

    March 17 – At 2:00 p.m., an injury accident was reported on US 62 10 miles from town. Kimberly Peterson was traveling on Us 62 when she slid into a guardrail due to slippery road conditions, then traveled into the on-coming lane and hit a ditch before flipping on the vehicle’s top.

  • KSP charges father with abuse of infant

    The Kentucky State Police in Dry Ridge have arrested David Moore, 25, of Harrison County charging him with first degree criminal abuse of a infant. 

    He was charged after the Dry Ridge Post received a call from the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital on March 23, at 3:53 p.m. of a 4-month-old infant with head injuries. 

  • Firefighter accused of department theft

    A Harrison County Volunteer fireman has been arrested and charged with allegedly stealing nearly $10,000 of equipment.

    Anthony Carson, 26, was arrested last Wednesday and has been charged with theft by unlawful taking after he alledgedly took several pieces of equipment from the Berry Fire station.

  • Two plead guilty of sex abuse charges


    Two Cynthiana men who were to stand trial on Friday on sex-related charges entered guilty pleas during their final pretrial hearings Tuesday.

  • ICE to deport man after Sunday wreck


    A Hispanic man is being held at the Bourbon County Detention Center awaiting deportation following his arrest Sunday.

    Connecticut, Colorado and the 2008 election are among some of the factors that have sparked interest in gun and ammunition purchasing in Harrison County.

  • Kay Brown trial postponed


    The three-day trial that was set for Kay Brown next week has been postponed.

    Brown appeared in Harrison Circuit Court Tuesday with her court-appointed attorney James Beckett.
