A love for people and the willingness to work is what has kept Kentucky Motors employee Leroy Dance faithful to the company for the past 43 years and counting.
Born a farm boy in the community of Roanoke, located in Pendleton County, the young Dance worked for his father in the fields of the family farm until the age of 18 when he set out on his own.
“In 1953 I told my dad that I was done farming,” said Dance. “I thought he was going to throw me out when I told him that, but I was allowed to stay at home with my family.”
