  • Buckler receives Kentucky Hospital Association Patient Safety Hero award

    Harrison Memorial Hospital (HMH) is one of 90 hospitals in the state participating with the Kentucky Hospital Association (KHA) in an effort to improve patient care and reduce health costs in the commonwealth, the Hospital Improvement Innovation Network (HIIN). Hospitals in the state are working together, along with hundreds of hospitals across the nation to reduce preventable readmissions (re-hospitalization within 30 days of discharge) and hospital acquired conditions (HACs), and to improve overall quality and patient safety.

    Volleyball team wins at Bracken
    The Harrison County Fillies volleyball team improved to 34-0 Tuesday with a straight set win at Bracken County.  
    The Fillies won by 25-11 and 25-14.  Bracken County falls to 7-22 with the loss. The Fillies will play their last regular season match on Thursday when they travel to Scott High School.  The Lady Eagles will be 20-13 when they face the Fillies.

  • Volleyball setting new records each match they play

    The Harrison County volleyball team is undefeated for the season which is a tremendous accomplishment for the girls and the coaches.  Thirty-three wins to date with a match at Bracken County Tuesday and one at Scott High on Thursday to wrap up the regular season.  
    For some time, the HCHS girls have been the only undefeated team in the Commonwealth which, again, is a great achievement.
