    Traffic Cases
    The following information from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office indicates drivers and/or owners whose vehicles were involved in accidents.
    March 17 – At 10:45 a.m., a non-injury accident was reported on KY 1298. Tony King struck a deer and ran off the road.
    March 18 – At 5:34 p.m., an injury accident was reported on US 62. Elizabeth Gross was traveling on US 62 when her car dropped off the side of the road causing her to over correct and drive across the oncoming lane of traffic and into a ditch where she hit a tree.

  • Cynthiana Police Department

    Case reports
    March 1 – Pamela Bush, First Street, reported that an individual had taken her SSI debit card and Kentucky ID as well as jewelry. On March 20, Bush notified police that the new SSI card she was to receive had been sent to another address. When she called to check on the card she was told it was sent to the address that was given in a follow up call. That card was then used to withdraw $540 from her account. A warrant is being sought for the suspect’s arrest

    The following information from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office indicates drivers and/or owners whose vehicles were involved in accidents.

    March 6 – At 2:30 a.m., a non-injury accident was reported on Dividing Ridge Road. Billy Frazier rounded a curve and lost control causing him to drive into a small pond.
    March 9 – At 7:54 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on US 62. Amber Powers was driving on US 62 when she encountered a deer in the road and was unable to keep from hitting the deer.
