  • CLARIFICATION

    On July 23, Michael T. McCall, 20, was issued a warning citation for careless driving on U.S. 27 South. It was previously reported that McCall’s father had received the citation.

    Arrests, citations, warnings
    Aug. 5 -- Mark D. Richardson, 29, was arrested on Third Street and charged with operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, no insurance, leaving the scene of an accident/failure to render aid and DUI.
    Aug. 5 -- Joshua S. Bell, 32, was arrested on North Church Street and charged with disregarding stop sign and DUI, aggravated circumstances.
    Aug. 6 -- Kay L. Faulconer, 44, was issued a warning citation for speeding on U.S. 27 North.

    Traffic Cases
    The following information from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office indicates drivers and/or owners whose vehicles were involved in accidents.

    Aug. 3   At 5:31 a.m., a non-injury accident was reported on KY 1054 South. Justin Watts was traveling on KY 1054 and dropped off the side of the road and overcompensated resulting in Watts striking a wire fence and utility pole.

    Aug. 2 – At 1:11 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on US 62 West. Cheryl Hoskins was traveling on US 62 and attempted to slow down due to construction and was struck in the rear by Billy Camic.
