    CYNTHIANA POLICE DEPARTMENT

    Case reports

    May 24 – At  2:45 p.m., police took a report from a Walmart employee, who was pregnant at the time and who said she was assaulted by another employee in January. She said the incident put her into premature labor.

    May 26 – At 5:12 p.m., a Cynthiana woman reported that her mother had allegedly taken her daughter’s checks, written them to herself and cashed them. No charges were pursued by the victim.

    May 15 – At 1:05 p.m., Patricia Walker, Maple Street, and Cyuara Boyers, Penn Street, reported the theft of jewelry totaling $2,399. Police recovered $1,035 worth that had been taken to local jewelry stores and pawn shop.

    May 16 – At 12:05 a.m., Lyndsay S. Mann, Mill Street, reported that while she was away from her home briefly someone entered her home and took a cell phone and xBox game system.
