    Accident Reports
    Feb. 24 – At 6:55 a.m., a non-injury accident occurred on US 62 W. Virginia Faulkner struck a deer.
    March 1 – At 9:10 a.m., a non-injury accident was reported. Rick Aburto was traveling east on KY 32 West when he collided with McKennzie Wells in a curve.

    Case reports
    Feb. 17 – At 6:36 p.m., an alarm at Eastside Elementary went off while a drill team was inside practicing. The principal set the alarm and when a teacher, who was also inside, stepped into the hallway, the alarm sounded.
    Feb. 17 – At 6:54 p.m., police were called to Wilson Avenue where siblings had been in a fight and one of the juveniles allegedly tried to push another in front of an approaching train.

    Traffic Cases
    The following information from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office indicates drivers and/or owners whose vehicles were involved in accidents.
    Feb. 18 – At 7:25 a.m., an injury accident was reported on US 62 east. Donald Rhodes, was westbound on US 62 when he began to drive too far to the right side of the road. He over corrected, left the road and struck two mailboxes and a guardrail before overturning.

    Feb. 19 -- Joshua S.  Gasser, 22, was cited on U.S. 27 South at KC Provisions for failure to produce insurance card and speeding 12 mph over the limit.
    Feb. 19 -- Gregory A. Sowder, 45, was cited on U.S. 27 South for speeding 23 mph over the limit.
    Feb. 20 -- Santana M. Perkins, 22, was issued a warning for having expired tags.
    Feb. 20 -- German A. Alarcon, 23, was arrested on Oddville Avenue and charged with alcohol intoxication.

    The following information from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office indicates drivers and/or owners whose vehicles were involved in accidents.
    Feb. 4 – At 2:45 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported when Jeremy Malone lost control of his vehicle on KY 1940 and struck a fence.
    Feb. 10 – At 8:40 a.m., a non-injury accident occurred on Mouth of Cedar Rd. when a vehicle driven by Joyce Wilson skidded off the road and struck a tree.

    Feb. 1 – At 1:39 p.m., Josh Rueger, an employee of Papa John’s, reported having received a forged check.
    Feb. 2 – At 3:52 p.m., police were called to the courthouse where a woman was falling off the bench and appeared to be under the influence. Police arrested Tonya Applegate, charging her with public intoxication and prescription controlled substance no in proper container.
