    Traffic Cases
    The following information from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office indicates drivers and/or owners whose vehicles were involved in accidents.

    April 19 – At 11:37 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on KY 392 four miles from town. Jackson Sanders was traveling on KY 392 when he dropped off the side of the road causing him to flip his vehicle on its side.

  • Cynthiana Police Department

    Case reports
    April 8 – At 11 a.m., Seth Smith of Walmart Security reported that an individual came into Walmart and attempted to get a refund for an ink cartridge that he had just picked up at the store. He left with the merchandise but returned and dropped it off in the pharmacy department. Police arrested Chad Jones, charging him with theft by unlawful taking, shoplifting.

    March 28 – At 11:13 a.m., Paula McFarland reported that she needed a report of a missing sim card so that AT&T would replace the one she had missing.
    March 28 – At 1:09 p.m., Thelma J. Stevens, Elm Street, reported that she had purchased a lawn mower from Mark Wasson for $500, but that she had never received the mower. She told police she confronted Wasson at River Road Park and he allegedly slapped her in the face. Stevens said she will seek a complaint against Wasson.

    Accident Reports
    April 11 – At 3:59 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on New Lair Road. Shakhra Miller was attempting to turn into a driveway and was struck in the rear by Terry King.
    April 15 – At 7:08 a.m., a non-injury accident was reported on US 62 seven miles from town. Jamie Rueger was traveling on US 62 when a deer came into the road causing him to hit the deer.
