    April 25 – At 6:06 a non-injury accident was reported on Ky 392. Susan Pike reported to the sheriff’s office that she was driving and hit a turkey causing damage to the grill of her vehicle.

    Case reports
    April 4 – At 12:52 p.m., Michael Moore, Poplar Street, reported that a dog belonging to his neighbor across the street tried to bite him.
    April 6 – At 6:11 p.m., Jeff Callahan, manager of Lee’s Chicken, reported that a former employee was asked not to be back on Lee’s property.

    The following information from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office indicates drivers and/or owners whose vehicles were involved in accidents.
    April 19 – At 8:29 a.m., an injury accident was reported to have occurred on US 62 East. Alfred Bryant was traveling on US 62 when he lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway and struck an embankment.
    April 19 – At 8:43 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on Wagner Lane. David Teague was traveling and reportedly swerved to miss a herd of deer. He struck a tree.

    CASE REPORTS
    April 3 – At 3 p.m., Tim Thomas reported that he was verbally attacked about taking pictures of a young man riding a dirt bike in front of his house.
    $April 6 – At 7:52 p.m., a woman reported that someone was sending her threatening text messages.

  • RESTAURANT INSPECTIONS

    Feb. 18 -- Cynthiana Country Club, 99%, ceiling paint chipping above vent hood, HVAC vents and diffusers need cleaning.
    Dec. 16 -- China House, 94%, cardboard is not an approved liner material, all food needs to be covered, floor area/sides of equipment, top of water heater, under shelf of prep table need to be cleaned, floor area in front of 3-way sink needs to be repaired, dispose of all single-service cans, containers, etc., date all items in cans/containers when they are opened.
