    CYNTHIANA POLICE DEPARTMENT

     

    Case reports

     

    Sept. 24 – At 1:15 a.m., police were called to a non-injury accident on North Locust Street where the driver of a red Ford Focus rear-ended a Chevrolet Suburban and left the scene. The driver was later located in Georgetown and the investigation is continuing.

     

    Sept. 24 – At 9 p.m., police investigated a report of a juvenile assault which allegedly occurred at First Stop.

    Sept. 10 – At 6:03 p.m., police received a call from the Red Carpet that an individual was assaulted and suspect information was provided.

    Sept. 15 – At 9:44 p.m., police arrested Christopher Hurst charging him with criminal mischief. During the process of the arrest, Hurst allegedly dented the rear quarter panel of Sgt. Eric Kendall’s cruiser while resisting arrest.
