    Jan. 1 -- At 11:36 p.m., a report was made from Shell Apple Market of a robbery that had just occurred. The suspect was armed with a piece of broken glass and took the cash drawer. Police are continuing the investigation.
    Jan. 8 -- At 7:58 a.m., Kimberly D. Morris, Quail Lane, reported that someone entered her apartment while she was sleeping and removed her television, a wii console, games and DVDs, her e-cigarette, cell phones and change.

    Dec. 26 -- Dep. Joe Daniel responded to a single-vehicle accident on KY36, three miles west of Cynthiana. A car driven by Arley Avery slid off the road and overturned.
    Dec. 30 -- Dep. Tuan Kreer responded to a single-vehicle accident on KY982, three miles west of Cynthiana. Rowena Richardson, Lexington, ran off the road and struck a road sign.

    Dec. 15 -- At 6:05 p.m., police were advised of a 34-year-old man having sex with a 14-year-old girl. The case remains under investigation.
    Dec. 18 -- At 7:29 a.m., Russell and Serena Snowden, 303 W. Pearl St., reported that someone had taken jewelry from her jewelry box. The estimated value of the missing jewelry was $1,751. Three of the rings were located at Ewalt’s Jewelry. Steve Ewalt told police that he and the clerk who handled the transaction would provide written statements.
